Impromptu Dinner Party

Ever have a surprise guest stop by unannounced?!
Still want to be the HOSTESS WITH THE MOSTEST and entertain?!

Below is a super quick appetizer I whipped up yesterday when I had a friend come over:

First, I diced onion, yellow bell pepper and red bell pepper together and threw them into a pan with a little bit of oil. salt and pepper.

I let the veggies simmer on low heat until the onion turned a golden brown. One fully cooked, I added the veggies and some cheese on top of a tortilla...

trying to get my Veggie Quesadilla's good side ;)

Cut, Plate, add sour cream, hot sauce, a little more hot sauce, and WHALAH!

A YUMMY IMPROMPTU APP FOR 2 :)

When I saw this post on my friend
Kathleen's blog Carrie Bradshaw Lied
I immediately knew it would be a perfect addition to my
 Dinner Party
easy appetizer list!

HAMBURGER SLIDERS

1 package of extra-lean ground turkey

1/2 packet of dry ranch dressing

Chopped red onion

Chopped shredded carrots

Chopped red bell pepper

Mix ground turkey, chopped veggies, and packet of dry ranch dressing together in a bowl.  Spray a skillet with cooking spray and plop 4 to 5 mini burgers on the skillet. Keep the heat on medium-high, flipping the burgers once the bottom turns white.
Serve on mini Hawaiian rolls, add ketchup and mustard to taste

What To Drink...

Spiked Cherry Lemonade

Perfect for a summer time Dinner Party

What You'll Need:
  • Chambord Cherry Flavor
  • Lemonade
  • Fresh Cherries (pitted)
  • Vodka
  • a wet whistle ;)

First, pit the cherries (I used about 5 for one cocktail) and stir them into 1/3 vodka... this allows for the vodka to take on that fresh cherry taste...

Next, add 2/3 lemonade and just a splash of the Chambord on top

MIX WELL...

AND ENJOY!!
